The stridden path of strident pride is bound
To the tried and true: observed observations,
In documents summarized--the acute failures,
The successful gestures; the exuberant
Staidness that has remained.

Opportunities are offered to discover cogent
Agency, to research logged remains in the hope
That archived adventures can be renewed; the
Result, found findings are theorized--the
Contemplative expanse examined.

Options are given, are premised adoptions,
Mindsets to be appraised by individuals compelled
Duly to adapt willingly or abstain decisively.

Never say never--yet, such things never go quietly.
