Coated Stew

Chuck Beef Stew Pieces (cubed trapezoidal)
Bell Pepper Medley (diced angular)
Vine Ripe Tomatoes (quartered longitudinal)
Garlic Cloves (crushed)
Pine Nuts (toasted, pestled to paste)
Dried Basil

Roux: olive oil, flour, stew juices

Accompaniments: pasta, lemon wedge, percorino romano

Cryptic Croaker Mystery

The Batter

  • Flour [1-2-1]: high fructose, all purpose
  • Nigella (grind to dust)
  • Eggs (two whiskers)
  • Milk (minus 99%)

Batter Up

  • Baking Dish: butter sprayed, olive oil
  • Croaker (fillet): found skin-side down in the pool
