CULINARY MUSING 027: September 17, 2006 [listen]

Can Opener

As opposed to smell or taste, sight fashions a meal.

The presentation props the vision for flare, feeling and freshness--a friendliness that opens the eyes to wonder, to look for fullness or emptiness.

A full wonderment favors the props that place a setting, conforming to stellar encounters that astound astrologically a can do attitude.

The wonderful presents a plot worth pointing out, a musing worth noting, an envisioned meal that twisters the tongue.

Poem [listen] Foodstuff

Can Opener

Agaze--
A scant glance,
Seek or spy;
Light sight,
A vision uncanned.

Uncanny maudlin--
Gaping view
Right through
The visage
Eviscerated.

A seer leering--
Open to
The howling of,
The bawling of
The purged contents,
Now soulless farm-stuffs
Mortalized for ingestion.
