CULINARY MUSING 002: January 5, 2006 [listen]

Recipe

This poem attempts to describe the components and mechanics of a recipe, which is an attempt to describe the components and mechanics of preparing a portion of a meal, if not the meal entirely.

Ed's Stuffed Pepper

I've prepared this foodstuff twice. Once for my wife, and a second time, while on vacation, for my sisters and nieces.

This is a meal, very dense.

Placing any references to Freud aside, this is one for the family.

An invention of taste:

A primitive organization of labor:
Hand-crank crafting proto-processor theory;
Replicating Procedure's technique applied;
Skill in proficiency of measurement.
