Low enthusiasm in performing
The simple task--laborious
And tiresome, completion is
Protracted with minimal effort;
The procedure, minimal critical
Thought.

The end result demands an
Explanation for not using
Enough salt, for not doubling
The amount of sugar (though
None was required); the
Overwhelming feeling--
Being compelled to offer a
Mea culpa for overcooking
The lamb!
