Dreamlessness.

Non-queasy stomach tremors

Tongue sticking to roof of mouth,
Tacky palate cluck;
Inflamed tonsils--needling;
Post nasal sludge; hacking cough;
Ear snare drum crackle.

The nose denies air passage:
Lungs exhausted, abdominals sore;
For respiration, naught forces.
Eyes, pressed shut, open, blink willfully.

Medicine cabinet, water, fluffy paper.
Single passage--clear improvement.
Feed a cold optimism.

A dirty mess--a kitchen
Rude awakening.
