ANECDOTE 016: May 14, 2008 [listen]

Waning the Exhale

Some time ago, there was me,
Masticating bites blindly.
Ah! Eh! Ih! Oh! Uh!
Me shattered my tooth,
Gnashing nosh in reverie!!!

Overdramatization?
Or a traumatization?
An emergency
Ambulatory--
A hospitalization.

Not for a damage dental!
You have got to be mental!
But does hurt to breathe.
Nothing up my sleeve.
This is quite lamentable.

At the office examine--
Teeth crud-caked with contamine
In a junk (food) yard
Rests a molar shard.
Prosthetic choice, cinnamon.

The nerve exposed, to the nose
A fume goes. No, no, no se
'Bla(h)--unspeakable.
Shocking audible;
Painkiller--another dose.

Fresh air and air freshener,
Liquid mint in a tumbler--
The assistant clears
Any chance for tears
And then calls in the Driller!

****************************

When there is an urgency
For such oral surgery,
Spotless underwear
Is not the affair
Troubling this touchy-feely!
